General Health Care - November 2006

I have a really really bad infected finger and I need some thing I can do at home to help it heal. I am ready have some over the counter antibiodics and I don't really think going to the doctors for a tiny infection on my finger is an option,I have had infected finger before but this one is really bad.

I have a condition called Scolisos and I am taking muscle relaxers that the doctor gave me for the pain,I have noticed I am sick to my stomach and headaches alot since i have begain taking them.Has anybody that is on these or has been had the same symptms???If so tell me what i should do???THANKS!!!

While working in an attic I had an apro 8 foot fall through the ceiling and landed on my back. on carpet. I basically feel like I was just slaped on the back real hard (whih has happened before). Has this ever happened to anyone? What should I do? Should I make an appointment with my doctor for tommorow? Etc.

I have been playing football for 5 years Iam 12 and I feel alot of pain I havent told my parents cause I'm afraid they'll pull me out the pain countinues to get worse and Iam worried it will never go away. I have always been the guy who mad the TD's but I can feel myself slowing down. Please help.

the walking becomes less painful after moving around for a while, but the first few steps after getting out of bed are nearly impossible. any stretches that can be done before getting out of bed. any medication that can be taken the night before to lessen the pain?

I have had lower back pain for some time now and I always thought it was because I have a slightly swayed back and a kinda big butt. When i stood for a long time it would feel numb and then when I tried to round out the arch of my lower back, it would hurt. For the past 2 weeks, I have noticed a new pain. When I walk, each time I roll through my right foot and put the pressure on my toes/ metatarsal, I get a strong tingling sensation in my middle toe. I havent felt any shooting pain down my leg though. Any idea what this could be?

im 28. suffering with chronic pain.had removal of herniated disc @ l5 & s1. no hardwhere. the doc said it shoud fuse by it-self.3 months to the day , i was rushed to baptist hospital in miami fla, and had an emergency surgery because of the pain i had been in for 2 and a half months. my spine had collapsed and 2 titanium rods, 4 screws-and a bracket was made with steel mesh, and bone from a doner was placerd in my spine to stableize my back.i was taking morphine 30 mgs.wasent doing 2 much, so pain doc. switched me 2 methadone.first time trying it, and started sweating, got nausia, and threw up all nite long.i figured it would take time 2 get used 2 it. the next day i took it agaiin, and it happened again! the doc put me back to morphine 30 mgs,untill i could see him again.today he said...lets try these oxy cotton 40 mgs .i wanted 2 know , whats the diffrence between the drugs,and is one stronger then the other? sergon say the pain is permanant ,and permanate nerve damage, and sugeston

About 5 or 6 years ago I was roller blading and i fell on my wrist. A bump developed on my wrist afterwards. Today I took a blow to the same spot and I noticed it Moved. Its not painful or painless and it kinda feels like cartelage. What do you think it could be?
