Which would you rather do?

Continue to play for a couple of years or months and don't tell anyone, than get permanently injured for the rest of your life and suffer.
or...

Tell your parents, let them tak you to the doctor and he'll check you up. You probably get pulled out of the team. But it a few months, you can play agian as much as you want and don't suffer for the rest of your life.

Your choice...choose wisely

yeah, tell your parents. You should see an orthopedic who specializes in sports medicine.
If you want to play football in high school and college, get it taken care of, now.
It may not be a big deal but at least you will know.
My son hurt his knee playing football in high school. It took a little while to heal but he is now playing sports in college. See?
good luck

If you continue to ignore the pain it will never go away and probably will get worse. You really need to tell your parents.

hey dude, it may be nothing. or it may not be, but you won't know until you find out. in my opinion it's better to tell right away cause i'm the wait and see type and it does NOT pay off. i'm still living that down, and not telling won't help the pain, either!

you need to tell them and go to the Dr unless you want to be injured for the rest of your life... There could be a lot going on that you don't know that a Dr needs to fix... or you could just get some therapy to help strengthen and stretch you.... but tell them, it's really important to help prevent being injured for the rest of your life...

It may be "growing pains," some boys get them when they have their growth spurts.
