No! You can get an infection using a bobby pin piercing your ears, go to Wal-Mart they do ear piercing for an afordable price and the earings are free.

Have you tough about the risk of infection ? is the material that will be used is completely sterile and 100% free from bacteria ?? what if an accident happen ??? you might start bleeding a lot or pock somewhere that you should have (eyes..)? or cut yourself badly...at home piercing is not recommended you need a professional with medical experience by your side at the moment.

If you like pain and a flaming infection, SURE go ahead. Why not just purchase and ear piercing gun/ cleaner and earrings off ebay and do it the "safer" way?
Ouch!

not unless you like lots of pain and infection if you're sucessful to pierce--although one of my sister's used a biig safety pin to do hers years ago---OUCH! you can use ice to get thhe earlobe good and cold, and pierce it with a sterile needle-use a stud earring and turn it every day for a week til healed-OR go to a dept. store or beauty salon and they will use a piercing gun-practically painless, and heals faster...

I don't reccomend it. It is dangerous, and can cause a serious infection. Go to Claire's. It is cheap and they do a great job!
Plus, if you try yourself, they are more than likely to wind up uneven.

Definitely not!!! I promise that Claires and Walmart both pierce them for free, you just pay for the studs, and they are super cheap but good! Do not do it!!
