Sounds like a chest infection could also be asthma,(I am an asthmatic that is prone to chest infections) I bought my self one of those triangle shaped pillows, that way I am not sitting upright but up enough for my airways to be open enough to breathe.I STRONGLY suggest you go to your GP,he will be able to give you medication for either ailment ,do not leave it ,as chest infections can become pneumonia!!!!!

Sounds like pleurisy to me. Inflamation of the Pleura lining around the lungs - feels terrible. I would search online for more info, here is one site that has some info on it: http://www.healthsquare.com/ndfiles/nd0405.htm

i have this same problem but i am an asmatic and i smoke.Do you do have asthma or do you smoke? If you don't you need to go and see your doctor. You should still go and see your doctor even if you do have asthma or are a smoker just to be on the safe side.
