Puncture the Vitamin E capsule with a pin and rub the oil on the scar. You can mix this with a bit of the natural cocoa butter. But from my experience Vitamin E oil works quicker than cocoa butter. I have kids i would know...(make sure you have no allergies first)

Vitamin E cream is great for reducing scarring. You can get it at most drugstores, and it's really good for skin in general! I'm type II diabetic and don't always heal well, so I've had some experience with this, and it helps me quite a lot. It's also great for sunburn and simple dry skin.

I've just had surgery & my plastic surgeon recommended Elta-Lite lotion or cream to rub on my scars, I use that in addition to 100% cocoa butter, Palmer's scar serum, & Mederma all just to be on the safe side. Better to have too much than not enough.

after the stitches are gone, and wounds are closed, you should go to cvs and there are bandaids with special ointment on it that makes your scar heal faster and dissapear. about 5 to 6 dollares.

Don't just put anything on your stitches until they have been taken out or dissolved. You should check with your doctor first.

Try some Aloe. Or, if you can find it in your neighbourhood, emu oil. Yes emu oil. It's very good for the skin.
