The dot itself looks exactly like the dots you get in your eyes when you look at a lightbulb when its turned on. the dot is in the lower left part of my field of vision and normally when looking i dont notice it but i have been noticing it more and more rescently due to stress. i have suffered from this dot for roughly 8 years and went to a specialist eye hospital and they found nothing wrong with my eyes infact they told me they were perfect! anouther strange thing is that i see the dot in exactly the same place in each eye when the other is closed. any thoughts would be appreciated

Basically, and this is totally undignified...I went to...'drop some kids off at the pool' today and after I wiped myself, there was a teeny bit of blood....so I wiped a few more times and it was only a tiny bit each time..looked like the blood like when you cut yourself. I know it sounds gross but any help would be appreciated!!

My wife thinks i'm kinda weird but she likes it as much as i do.She says that my CPR technique is right and felt almost real esspecially when i blow air into her mouth and compressed her chest.I think it's my own fetish but i do felt worry if this can have a negative impact on my wife's safety.Do you guys think it's safe for me to perform CPR on her just for fun although the steps are correct?

I haven't been smoking cigarettes for 2 days now and I woke up this morning (2nd day) and my cheeks and tongue are senstive and sore. Is this a side effect of not smoking? or something more serious? I don't drink a lot of water and my diet is mostly fast food.

I'm due to have an operation on my ankle to repair the igaments. However, I can't sleep because of the burning sensation on my foot and the physiotherapist, the doctor and the surgeon all nod their heads but seem to think there's nothing to be done about it. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.

Right before/after sleep it feels like something is immobilizing you and it gets hard to breath, then you try to call for help but there is no sound.

Yesterday my 40 lb. child jumped on my right hip. At the time I was laying on my left side napping on the couch. Last night I couldn't walk, and when I finally did..I had to cling to the walls. My legs aren't working right. Today I went to the doctor, and found out there is no cushoning between my hip soccet and femer bone. Any of you used to dealing with hip pain? I am 26 and the hip probs started after having my child (used to have very narrow hips). What kind of questions should I ask the doctor? Anyone want to share their experinces? Thank you ~Rosanne~

I recently strained my left ankle (pulled a muscle) and now I feel aches and pain in my leg and thigh. I can only feel it in my left leg and sometimes numbness and burning sensations. It's hard to explain as I never felt like this before and you can't feel pain when you touch it, only the feeling.

The worse is when I'm sitting down in front of a computer...as my leg feels uncomfortable.

Should I seek a podiatrist for help or will it heal by itself but by months? I went to see a doctor but he didn't have a clue of what to do, just gave me tablets but didn't help.

Any suggestions...

I think I am getting into too deep of a sleep. I sleep through alarm clocks and lots of noises. I also dream alot up until the point of waking up. I've always heard that when your dreaming you are in your deepest sleep. I sleep for 10-13 hours everyday and wake still feeling tired. It's like I can never get enough sleep. When I do get up I have a hard time actually 'waking' up fully. I have heard that there is such a thing as a rthymic sound generator to prevent one from getting into too deep of a sleep so that it will be easier to arise in the morning, but I haven't had any luck in finding any info on this online. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I have this problem even when I go to bed at earlier times too.

3 weeks ago I decided to quit smoking, and November 3rd was the day I picked to quit. I am as prepared as I can possibly be. Have you quit successfully? Can you give me some tips that aren't the general ones I've already read? And what are some side effects of the patch & the gum? I really want to quit. Any comments will be greatly appreciated!! Thank you SO much!!

I'm Canadian, and I'm just wondering how it works. Because here, you can go to the doctor for whatever reason and it doesn't cost anything. Does it cost to go to the doctor in the US each time you go? Or does everyone have plans that allow them to go so many times for minor issues during the year?

Don't be rude either, lots of people in the Western world live in countries that have public health systems. How would we know how it works in your country if we've never lived there?
Thanks!

so, i have the standard back pain that most people have. I lean over a lot at work and I know thats the main contributor. I was just wondering if there are any temporary relieving tricks besides pills that can make my back feel somewhat better. I have Dr Scholls shoes where they have the gel supports so that is ruled out. Plus, when i walk i try to maintain a good posture, so that can be ruled out. please, no dumb answers, looking for something that has worked for other people. thanx
