Basically, and this is totally undignified...I went to...'drop some kids off at the pool' today and after I wiped myself, there was a teeny bit of blood....so I wiped a few more times and it was only a tiny bit each time..looked like the blood like when you cut yourself. I know it sounds gross but any help would be appreciated!!

there could be a number of reasons for this:
1)if you have piles (haemorrhoids) there can be blood on wiping
2) if u were constipated and straining u can sometimes cause a small tear which can bleed.

I would also be wary if u are taking medication of the NSAID variety ( ie ibuprofen, diclofenac etc) as these can cause bleeds in the GI tract.

If in doubt see ur doctor and they can examine u with a proctoscope to check for anything. If there is any concern any referral can be done under the 2 week rule.

Its probably nothing more than a small fissure or perhaps a pile, but it depends on the colour of the blood, generally this blood will be bright red, if the blood is very dark then you should go to the doctor to get it checked out. Keep an eye on it and if it happens on a regular basis, whatever the colour, you should seek medical advice, better to be safe than sorry.

You may have haemorrhoids or piles as they are more commonly known. Dont let yourself get constipated and keep a check on them as they do tend to get worse over time and need treatment.

Bright blood isn't too worrisome. Black, tarry stools are more of a concern. Tight jeans, sitting too long, hemorrhoids, yeast infections, etc. can cause a little spot or two. Not too worry unless it gets . . .like . . .MUCH worse. Then, it would probably just be a little polyp, like a bump inside your mouth. 'Tis cool. Be happy. : )

You could just have scraped yourself, but to put your mind at complete rest, I'd advise going to see your GP - rectal bleeding can be a sign of something really serious. I'm sorry if it makes you worry and it could be just nothing, but best to be sure. Good luck.

happens sometimes unfortunatly, but if the symptoms continue you should go straight to the doctor because persistant bleeding is a sign of something more serious.
If you are really worried go to your doctor they won't mind and will be able to put your mind at rest

It would be nice to know where you are bleeding from. What you did preceeding wiping yourself. I have no clue other than to tell you to see your doctor if it continues.
