Today in biology our class was working with iodine..the teacher said if we got any on us we should wash our hands like 5 times... i got some on me but i didnt feel like washing my hands cuz i was already behind in the project we were doing...by the end of class it was gone...why did my teacher care so much? can it do anythign to you cuz my hand still kinda smells like iodine

My boyfriend has the coarsest facial hair in the world. I'm sitting here with a terrible wound on my chin and nose from it rubbing against my skin when we kiss. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to prevent this sort of thing from happening in the future, short of asking him to shave twice a day (I know that sucks).

Ok I know Im going to get some smart remarks here, but this is a serious question. I was eating a tortilla chip & it went down sideways (ouch) I didnt choke but it hurt & still feels like its there. Ive been drinking lots of water, but it hurts. Anyone else have this happen? What did you do to get it out of your esphogas?

As I've had a drink problem for quite a while I have come to the conclussion that I should stop, I currently drink about 5 cans of strong lager 9% a day and am wondering if this will have any adverse effects on my health if I go "cold turkey" and just stop.
Also does anyone have any ideas for what I can do to fill my time apart from sitting infront of my Pc all day?

Every now and then I get a very painful tightness in my chest. It doesn't happen every day, but it happens most often in the evening. It's probably not a heart attack, I'm 18 and have good cholesterol and not obese.

Around my fingernail hard skin has stared to grow.
It grows under the edge of the side of the nail and then it hurts and i have to pull it out from under neath the nail
it curls up under the nail and attaches its self to the nail at the same time

Everytime i go out of the house i have to have a preformance like go for a toilet, get a water, get some food just incase i get caught in a major traffic jam and i can't breath and i can't go any where with out a water or i think i will not be able to swallow!! even though i know i can!! please help!!

he doesnt know how to drink or hold the glass (bottle) of milk when he is drinking it, he just drink milk when he is already half asllep.. its like he avoids drinking in a bottle, cries when we offer it to him, like fighting us and clamping his lips.. we are worried because he is having poor intake of fluids. please help. his parents are worried. maybe i can get help from your answers, thanks.

If this enhancement is true, you know that steroids gives a person all this special power and that is how baseball players, runners, football players etc. break all of these sport records and become better than those who dont use steroids. My question is-why don't we give these steroids to our armed forces so that they have this extraordinary strenghth and power that supposedly comes from steroids. Wouldn't we over power the enemy??
