I did the same thing for most of my life. What helped me was to learn to hold your head high, square your shoulders and begin lifting weights. Excersises to strenghten your back will help but a general weight lifting regime will help your overall body posture.

Just make it something you will concentrate on and always be mindful of whether you are slouching or not.

Have your hormone levels and blood calcium checked. Frequently progressively worsening posture can be a sign of hormone imbalances and/or calcium deficiencies caused by changes in your body as you age. If you are 35 or older, this may be the issue.

TRY DOING SHOULDER ROLLS, ROTATE YOUR SHOULDERS ROUND KEEPING THEM RELAXED AT ALL TIMES, ROTATE THEM BACKWARDS INSTEAD OF FORWARDS, DO AT LEAST 15 ROTATIONS ON THE SHOULDERS. YOU CAN ALSO TRY GETTING A CHAIR WITH GOOD SUPPORT FOR YOUR BACK, PRESS YOUR BACK FIRMLY AGAINST THE CHAIR, THEN CLASP YOUR HANDS TOGETHER, AND WHILST KEEPING YOUR ARMS STRAIGHT RAISE THEM HIGH ABOVE YOUR HEAD, AND TAKE THEM AS FAR BACK OVER YOUR HEAD AS YOU CAN AND HOLD FOR THE COUNT OF TEN, THEN RELEASE, DO THIS A FEW TIMES IT HELPS STRAIGHTEN YOUR BACK POSTURE...REMEMBER TO ALWAYS SIT UPRIGHT, DO-NT SLOUCH.
