Get checked for strep throat---it's contagious.

It's not uncommon. You probably have tonsilitis. Go to the doctor before you develop a severe fever which could give you seizures, damage your heart and brain, and shorten your life.

You need to have a throat culture to determine what the infection is from. If you have a fever please see someone immediately because strep can spread quickly. Remember Jim Henson? He had strep that was untreated.
