No, it doesn't. Is the white stuff something that looks like it could be wiped off, like sinus drainage? If so it could be you just had a touch of a sinus/allergy crud. If it looks almost like little pieces of cotton then it could be strep. You don't have to have a super-sore throat to have strep either, I found that out the hard way. I guess the big question is whether or not you've been running a fever and feally sick. If so, get to the doctor, it's strep season again right now. The body doesn't usually just get rid of strep on it's own and it can lead to rheumatic fever. See link below for images of strep throat.

What answer are you looking for? You have asked this previously and gotten the same answers. You could still have strep. Just because you don't have a fever and it's not really painful doesn't mean it isn't there. Go to the doctor and get a throat culture to be sure. If it's tonsillitis, the doctor needs to know anyway-you may still need anti-biotics.

You very likely have Strep. Yes this will pass on its' own eventually. Young healthy adults really do not 'need' antibiotics to clear this up. In time your immune system will take care of it. Just rest when you're at home. Go to bed earlier. Make an extra effort to eat healthy, drink plenty of clear fluids and of course take medication as directed to help manage your symptoms. Definitely something with Tylenol to help manage your sore throat pain.

More than likely you have strep throat. It is very contageous and if you have kids, you should avoid them as much as possible. Now, I am not a man that likes to take medicine, however, I have kids and i would hate to spread it to them. With a penecillin shot, it isn't contageous after 24 hours.

If you can't get into the doctor and your throat is still sore, try (as nasty as it sounds) to take a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. That should numb the pain enough until you get to the doc.

You have tonsillitis. If it's resolving itself (no fever, or other symptoms like ear ache), you don't need to do anything. Gargling with hydrogen peroxide should help.

You should see about getting your tonsils removed. If you don't do it right away, you will surely have more problems later on. This is a situation that has happened to me.
