BP no problem, they'll do it in the office. Cholesterol will be a blood draw and they may send you to a lab, if not they will draw two tubes of blood in the office and send it out to a lab for testing and results.
Good luck, my prayers are with you.
Start eating more chicken and fish, lay low on the red meat.

For a blood pressure check they sit you down, place a cuff around your upper arm, inflate it and slowly release the pressure and take their measurements. A blood sample is needed for the cholesterol determination. The blood is normally withdrawn after an overnight fast.

Well for the cholesterol check it will be a blood draw, usually they want you to be npo for 8 hr prior to the draw. As for the blood pressure check all they do is use the blood pressure cuff.

To check your cholesterol, they will draw blood from your arm. To check your blood pressure, they will put a cuff around your arm and it will squeeze your arm for about 10 seconds, and then release. It is uncomfortable for a second, but does not cause any pain.
