From a pharmacist...the tobacco and mud solutions hold water. I assume you have already done this. It is time for Benadryl...capusles, not the topical. Don't drive.

Feel better!

You already did a good thing! Just be patient it takes a while for the sting to go away. Use an ice pack for the swelling &Pain. if you are not allergic, take ibuprofen for the inflammation. Watch for
allergic reaction to sting, like hives, swollen lips or tongue - in that case call 9-1-1! If not allergic, watch for signs of infection like redness, pus, haeat & pain. Good luck!

Antiperspirant is great for insect stings.

It works on your sweat glands because it's an antihistamine. It will constrict the blood vessels in the area and counter the itch and swelling of stings. I have used it as a sting medication for many years with good results.

Make sure you use antiperspirant, not just deodorant.

As long as you aren't allergic (throat swelling, difficulty breathing--in which case call 9-1-1 now) then that is the only home remedy. If you can get to the store, by some Benedryl and some Sting-EEZ. That will really help.

the best way to get rid of the pain is to first scrape off the stinger. If you try pulling out the stinger you'll probably squeeze more venom into the wound. And then pour ammonia over the sting. It works.

Bee poison is heat sensitive; heat (but don't burn yourself !!!!!!!!) if applied immediately can reduce or suppress the pain. After some time, local anti-inflammatory may help.
Anything else is more dangerous than beneficial and does NOT work... (I read "chlorine", "kerosene" somewhere !!!!)
