He has been smoking heroin less and less and has tablets from the doctor but still smokes heroin. He wants to stop for himself. Will keeping him in the house all weekend really help. What can i do to help, i know nothing of this drug addiction. How will i know if he carries on using it.

I can not sleep. I feel tired throughout the day, but I promise myself, no nap, this is my opportunity to sleep at night, come night time I can not sleep. I don't know what is wrong; I do know that it's making me depressed. I think from lack of sleep. Any suggestions on what I can do to get some sleep? I tried, hot baths, relaxation cds, Chamomile tea, going to bed early. I want to get on a schedule but it's not happening. Right now I can not afford to go see a Dr., and it is really getting to me that I can not sleep...Thanks for listening to me vent....and open to suggestions...except being knocked out with a hammer...lol

I've for the past few months have been feeling some discomfort in my chest (pretend that an upside-down V is my rib cages - the point is where it feels like they meet and were it sometimes feels funny.) The throbbing (best word I can think of to describe it even though it doesn't exactly throb) isn't sharp or continuous, and as I said, I've felt it every so often since about May. Quite often it moves higher up, but even then, it's only on my left side and below collarbone.

So, to recap:
*left side of body, always lower than collarbone, higher than naval.
*on and off since May
*not sharp, more of a soreness?
*no idea what it is

I had suspicions that this was related to cardiology, but when I saw my cardiologist after having some scans taken, he said that everything seemed to be looking fine, but he didn't have any other idea as to what it was.

So the final question: WHAT AM I FEELING?

Some of you are gonna ask for info about me, so I'll say quickly: I'm a teen, girl, healthy, etc.

Lately i have to go pee a lot, like every hour. I drink a lot more water (about 3 bottles) a day b/c it was reccomended by my dietician and my father. My father and i both have thte same body type and when he began losing weight he used to go through the same thing. He said thats how u know ur losing weight, is this true???

I went to bed at 2:30 AM and had a head ache early in the morning. Around 6:00 AM, I still had one and took an Advil ten minutes later. Still had head ache.

During Sunday School, I looked at Choir was to sing and thought--I hate these specials. I'll never be able to sing them with this head ache. I kept on trying to decide whether to sing in the choir or not. Ended up in choir room anyway. During second verse of first special, stomach started feeling queasy. Suddenly realized--MIAGRAINE HEAD ACHE #1. All three of us left church suddenly before I did anything accidentally! Had head ache most of afternoon. I had to stay in the room with realative and watch TV, because he doesn't like to be "abondoned" by himself. Have had a few minor head aches since, but no more migraines.

If you've had migraines, what works for you? I had NONE of the classic symptoms, and this was not like the bad head aches I've had in the past. Does Tylenol help?

i have a bump on my head that appears to be a bug bite but is as swolen as a grape i know its not a mosquito bite . how can i make the swelling go down? and what could it be?

allso i have on one side of my neck just below my ears a swolen bump i guess. i know that gargleing sait and water works but do you have anyother advice. it would really help.

i discovered i have 13 degrees of scoliosis last year...i originally went to the doctor b/c i have had pain in my lower back if i'm on my feet a lot or not sitting comfortably. but also, if i'm on my feet for more than an hour or so, my left hand starts to go numb and my left shoulder has this pain that doesn't seem to be in the shoulderblade bone. could it be a pinched nerve due to my scoliosis?? what do you do about a pinched nerve?
