A normal body temperature is 98.6. A low grade fever begins at 99 degrees. That isn't really bad for an adult, but can be dangerous for infants and the elderly. The longer a person maintains a fever indicates a persistent infection. Also, anything above 103 should be seen by a doctor as the brain begins to literally bake at 106.

There is no right answer to your question since there really is no "normal" body temperature. 98.6 F 37C is a reference point for normal, but a large number of people normally run above or below that.
As a guideline you can say a person has a fever at 100 degrees F or 38.3 C, and should seek medical care at 102F or 38.9C if these temps don't go down after 24 hours of home care. If the temperature is 104F or 40C and stays near there for 12 hours you should seek medical care immediately. Anything over 104F or 40C needs immediate medical attention

A fever is a higher-than-normal body temperature and is a part of our body’s natural response to infection. The average normal body temperature is 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

98.6 is normal body temp. Up to 99.5 can be normal. As a matter of fact 99.5 is the perfect temp to be at when trying to get pregnant. anything above that is considered a low grade fever. Anything above 101 is on the edge of high. 102 and above is high. 104 and above is an emergency. 105 and above can be deadly.
