hi my name is ian and an intern.....
losing weight can be contributed by many things.... one of this is frequent urination.... remember that when you urinate along with the urine is that ELECTROLYTES... and electrolytes plays a very big part in hydrating the body.. electrolytes are one of the minerals that we can get in water... (one of the reason why we need water)
and remember water is responsible of 65.8% of our body weight....
--------
frequent urination might be due to excesive drinking of water... excess of alcohol in the body (during beer friday)
excess minerals, vitamins, body fluids are excreted through urination and defecation....
but if you think its abrnormal go see a doctor maybe its a sign of some renal disorder.. early detection means early cure....
you should be thankful that we urinate... remember urination get rids of toxins in the body which can be harmful in abnormal quantity....

well here's the thing. you need to drink water throughout the day to replenish fluids. anything extra that you take in above your requirements will be spilled out in the urine. drinking water does help some people with weight loss because it makes you feel full and keeps you from snacking. often people will mistake the body's thirst signal as a hunger signal and end up eating when what they should be doing is drinking water instead. the fact that you are urinating a lot is just an indication that you are taking in more water, and not that you are losing weight. try sipping on the water throughout the day if you aren't already and see if it works as opposed to chugging a bunch of it at one time.

It is really a good thing to drink the required 8 oz glasses of water a day. But it is something that is a bit misunderstood. Drinking water to keep your cells hydrated is important. Drinking water to excess can be dangerous. You say three bottles a day. I believe that it is important to be consistent with your water intake as it is to be consistent with the nutrients that you take into your body. If you eat breakfast, you should not necessarily drink water with your breakfast. You might consider taking water on awakening with some lemon in it. The rule of 8 oz glasses of water are for the normal person who doesn't dehydrate their body by exercise or excessive alcohol intake. In those cases the body needs more water to not only hydrate the cells but to flush out toxins.
If you are not eating correctly you absolutely need to drink more water as keotisis can be hard on your kidney and bladder. If you are having excess urination you may need to check and see if you are unbalanced in your PH. You can get strips to see if you are acid or alkaline at the drug store.
If you have pain while urinating you need to see your doctor.
Most important is that you have a balance of water throughout your day and nutrient your body with foods that provide you health. Stay AWAY from Hydrogenated or Partially Hydrogenated products and SUGAR.

If you are drinking more water, it helps to get rid of the water weight first. So your body is being flushed out. That is why you've been spending more time in the bathroom.

well, drinking too much water can tax your kidneys. so be careful!! But other than that much water you drink, thats completely normal, but you may want to not drink as much. Did you know that we get other ounces of water in other foods and drinks?? So think about that....

your mictorating more because you increased your fluid intake. this shows that your kidneys are functioning well. now if your urine comes out completely clear your drinking to much water and overhydrating yourself. don't worry about peeing so much, this is a good thing.

Well, you just answered your own redundant question - why do you drink more water? If you didn't you wouldn't pee so much.

No, it's not. Just lay off the liquids if it bothers you that much to hafta whip it out & pee (I think it's fun, personally).
