General Health Care - August 2006

I usually get colds that don't even run anymore. they just block my nose and i can't get them out... even if i drink lots of water in a day... it just doesn't work anymore... i even tried pouring water in my nose one time but it didn't work (of course), damn... what do you think is the best way to loosen a cold? i tried inhaling steam from a bowl of hot water under some towel but it didn't work too... what should i do?

My husband and I work for an organisation that has its own built in nursery facility. All i remember from the dream is my husband getting both car seats in either hand to carry the children into the nursery. We were both very proud - What does this mean?

We have no children but have been trying.. is it just stress from trying to conceive?

I have hepatitis b infection which gives me constant headache. I am only able to treat it by withdrawing protein fron my food. My doctor says i should not bother but I'm not confortable with that

What happened to St johns ambulance?

The weekly clubs that kids to enrol onto to learn first aid training was a 'cool' thing back in the 80's. The under 10s used to be called 'badgers'. You would get a certificate if you passed things like cpr and recovery positions.

Children army camps used to offer these type of skills too. Just like scouts and brownies.

My community used to be filled with these types of clubs for the kids and now i'm older the nearest one is 15 miles away in the city. Pathetic.

I go to this Chinese hair salon to get my hair permanently straightened. They use powerful chemicals on my hair and I think it is similar to the Japanese straightening system. I had it done a year and a half ago and my hair was fine. The first time was three years ago and again my hair was fine. The treatment did work on my hair. However now Im wondering if I will be third time lucky as I have heard horror stories and worried about the strain to my hair - my hair is weak anyway - what shall I do as I love to have straight hair - it is straight still but with a few waves and the roots have grown out so I use GHD straighteners at the moment.
