I've been reading books and I can say that I really do understand the subject prety well and I can meditate though but I just can't hypnotize myself at all . sometimes it feels that it's so close but just a little out of reach.

I wouldn't try it.You do not need this. Also,some people can't be hypnotized. I was told by someone that does it a lot to other people that I couldn't be hypnotized. I was ten years old at the time. A man came to our school to entertain and he had other children hopping around on one leg,and barking like a dog.
