Try snorting saline solution with a small mix of baking soda, sounds crazy but it works. It also works when trying to relieve blocked ears.

Try useing an teaspoon of sea salt in a glass of luke warm water then snort it up your nose it will release that clogged feeling. You need to do this at least 2 to 4 times. A day.

On its own, a dry cold usually takes SEVEN days to clear. But with effective medicines it gets cleared in a WEEK.

(You cannot do anything about it, as it is usually a viral illness. Tynelol/ Aspirin, cough syrups, humidifiers, and liberal water intake will soothe your symptoms to a certain extent and will allow you o keep going, but the illness will last for about a week. Therefore, do not overdo things in the haste to get well earlier than what it usually takes).

Yahoo has accused me of this in the past because I offer to help people for free and I want to point out clearly that there is no profit for me in this offer of help, merely the satisfaction of helping another in need.
Have a great day.

If you usually take cold medicine, try Mucinex- it is made to loosen up the blockage, and it works better than any other medicine I've tried.

Humidity is still the answer. Try a humidifier or steam vaporizer.
