my ankle always hurts after long times on it. or if im making sharp movements (playing tennis) it stiffens up and hurts for about 1 day at the min and 3 days at the most severe pain. the pain is on the outside of my ankle at about the six o'clock of the rounded bone on my ankle. what do any of you think this is it been like this for 2 years and im only 19!

What is the "right" time to introduce pacifyer usage for a baby that is breast fed? I suspect the first days or weeks of life may be too early but is this correct?. If started too early will it harm the effectiveness of the breast only feeding?

My apt has no air conditoning and we cant afford it, but its like a heat box in there, its uncomfortable even to sleep! Any suggestions? I have some fans but lately all they do is blow hot air on me.

I took Imitrex injection. No help. Demerol 200mg, also no help. I called my neurologist and he suggested I go to the ER. I went and they gave me a shot of Dilaudid 3mg. I feel asleep soon after it kicked in since I was so tired from no sleep all night, so they sent me home. I just woke up and it’s even worse then before. I just got sick. I don’t know what to do now

Ok im a mid teenager and i just got braces put on like a week ago. But ive been noticing the past two days that im swallowing wierd with my tongue, almsot like a tongue thrust. I suck all the spit from the out side of my mouth, the Front teeth region where mybraces are to my tongue and swallow. I swallow normal without my tongue touching my teeth but when i suck the spit to the tongue area my tounge pushes forward. Is this becasue of my braces or is this a problem to be concerned aobut. Ive never had a tongue thrusting problem before so why is this weird tongue thing happening now? I talk fine and evrything but is this a habit that will continue or will it go away as i get use to the braces? Answers please.

One of my tonsils is really swollen, it looks really lumpy almost like blisters but they are not white like blisters. It is a little sore from sinus drainage but nothing major. I was tested for strep but it was negative? What else could it be?

i have been having knee problems lately. i work out a lot and it started at the beginning of the summer while playing basketball. it just recently started hurting again except a lot more. there was never a sudden injury, it just started hurting. it is painful on the inner side of my right knee. i can sometimes feel it "grinding" and it pops whenever i use it. i have been icing it 2 times a day this week but i can not tell any difference. i have no history of knee pain ever. i am only 15 so take that into consideration for what you think it might be. my guess is that i may have torn cartilage, because of the grinding. It is also painful to the touch on the inner side right between the kneecap and thebone, in that dip. when i walk my knee will sometimes "lock up" and my knee will jerk. right now not doing anything, sitting here typing this it hurts. if anyone has an idea of what i should do please tell me, or what the doctor might say. thanks
