Tell him to try taking a Naproxen (anti-inflammatory) along with it.

First off, stop taking the Vicadin. If it is not working, he could become addicted as it is a VERY addictive medication.
Second, contact the physician that gave him that script. They should be able to help him by issuing another script OR seeing if there was some complication with the recovery.
This is not something that should wait, as if there is a complication, the earlier it is found, the easier it is to fix.

First of all its vicodin, they tell him to take 2 right, well take about 5 he will feel great, and he shouldn't hurt at all and it wont hurt you, i took 9 at a time before but don't do that OK. Feel better

call the Dr. and see if they can up his dose for the first 24 hours or ask if you can rotate Tylenol with the Vicodin!!! that's about all that can be done..But before you do anything call the Dr. to make sure...

He needs to call his surgeon and let him/her know the meds are not managing his pain. The doctor may prescribe something else.

they usually give you some Valium.....he just needs to sleep through the pain.
Tell him to lay down and stop trying to be active...or else he will suffer

go to the doctor and tell him that this pain killer isnt working but a lot of people do this to get stronger pain killer the doctor isnt stupid so you can tell him he can go try. or you can go to the emergency room but that cost a lot of money but that your opion
