I am also experiencing fever, sweats, chills, and fatigue, which I have not found to be associated with HPV (based on my internet search). Any other ideas?

Ok, so I keep seeing all these herpes medication commercials all over the TV. No big deal, whatever. The commercials say that 70% of people with herpes got it from their partner when they had symptoms of an outbreak. However, how do you keep your partner from getting it then? Cause the girl on the commercial doesn't have it but her partner does. Anyone have any ideas? Just wondering cause I really have no idea about it.

I have heard that genital herpes is contagious forever whether you have an outbreak or not. Is this true or not?

“Once in the body, the virus persists and moves to other mucosal sites via self-inoculation from the genitalia or oro-genital contact between sexual partners”

What is meant by self-inoculation? Does it mean that HPV can get transmitted to other places of the body without a sexual contact?

So I was diagnosed with chlamydia and I am taking meds for it, but I read online about all the reproductive problems that can occur from having it. The RN at Family Planning said I should be 'fine,' but that is not a good enough response for me. Should I be worried? Should I be tested for PID? What should I do? Pleeeeease Help!
