So I was diagnosed with chlamydia and I am taking meds for it, but I read online about all the reproductive problems that can occur from having it. The RN at Family Planning said I should be 'fine,' but that is not a good enough response for me. Should I be worried? Should I be tested for PID? What should I do? Pleeeeease Help!

Getting a pelvic exam should definitely benefit, you'd get a thourough check by it. Chlamydia is an STD but most cases respond to treatments given by physicians. Your worry would definitely lessen if you follow your physician & get an exam.

Good luck!

You need to get a pelvic exam! Do not take the advice of the RN. Trust your instinct and go to a DOCTOR and get the exam done.

Didn't you have to have a pelvic exam to get tested for chlamydia?
Chlamydia is 100% cured with antibiotics. Just make sure your partner gets treated for it also, or he will just pass it back to you!
