There are cures for STD's of bacterial and fungal orgin, such as gonorrhea and syphilis; but there are no cures to STD's of viral orgin, such as HIV, herpes, and HPV. However, there are vaccines for some viral STD's such as HPV and hepatitis.

just to add to what the people said above me: when people say 'cure' what they really mean is 'treat'. the STD is still there, it's just being treated. cured would imply the disease is gone altogether, which is almost never the case.

Depends which one you get. Some can be cured with antibiotics, but things like Herpes or HIV are with you forever.
