Yes you can because bacteria (particularly bacteria from your anus) can come in contact with your urethra (where you pee from). Even though his penis goes it your vagina, bacteria can come in contact with your urethra. Oral sex can also do this. If you have anal sex do not allow him to penetrate your anus and then your vagina. That is a surefire way of getting a UTI. Urinate before and after sex to reduce the chance of infection.

Absolutely.

Having sex in general, whether it be a lot or just a little, can cause a person to develop a bacterial infection like a UTI (urinary tract infection) or BV (bacterial vaginosis). Bacteria can get into the urinary tract and even in the bladder.

If you and your boyfriend are having a lot of sex you should try cleaning your genital area prior to and after sex and don't resist the urge to urinate after sex. Urinating after sex can sometimes "flush out" any bacteria.

No this will not cause UTI's. They are caused by bacteria entering the bladder and growing causing a UTI. It is a good idea to urinate before and immediately after sex though if you are prone to UTI's.

Yes, bacteria gets pushed up into the female urethra with all that pushing.

Try drinking lots of water, and cranberry juice.

Sorry about your problem....it is very painful.

You can get a urinary tract infection from sex.
It's not uncommon.
