It depends on a lot of factors. You can't really put a "75% chance" or" 25% chance" label on it.
Some people have had sex with people who have STDs and have never contracted the STD. Other people, including me, have had sex with a person ONE time who has an STD and they contract it from them. So you can't really say how much of a chance it is or not.
If the person you had sex with does have HIV/AIDS then there is definitely a possibility you can contract the virus from them. If they DON'T have HIV/AIDS then you will NOT contract the virus from them.
You should still be tested though just in case. Most STDs can be tested by blood or by a urine sample. Some STDs are tested by a swab sample.
You can't prevent any kind of infection now. The deed is done.
Get tested for HIV in a few months. I believe you have to wait about 4-6 months, depending on the test, to have an accurate reading.
Good luck!

Apparently 80 out of 100. But of course for the women that get pregnant it's 100% and for those who narrowly escape it is 30% or something so....... I wish people would just answer the question and not make up a backstory, right?

You have put yourself at risk of HIV & every other STD through having unprotected sex. There is no way of ascertaining your individual risk as it depends on so many different things. You should be tested for HIV in 3 months & if you develop any symptoms that concern you then have swabs, blood tests etc for STDs. Make sure you wear protection next time round.

"your chances are very high".
For heaven's sake stop the panic police. Last I checked AIDS, despite all the panicked 'everyone is at risk' fearmongering, has not become a heterosexual problem.
But we need more information. Your chance of becoming 'HIV positive' (the antibody tests can't tell you whether you actually have a virus or not, they just detect antibodies) depends on your drug usage history, sexual practices (vaginal intercourse / receptive anal intercourse) and the frequency of sex. It also depends on whether or not you're in a 'risk group', meaning IV drug user or gay men.
For instance, in gay men, a high frequencey of receptive anal intercourse is the only sexual practice associated with the development of AIDS.
The average heterosexual, despite all the hoopla, is statistically VERY, VERY unlikely to become 'HIV antibody positive' as a result of a single unprotected sexual encounter even with a known 'positive' partner [1]. It's much more plausible that an std like syphillis or ghonorea could be caught.
I would say chill out, the human race has been having 'unprotected' sex for a VERY long time and last I checked the planet's population hadn't died of as a result.
Remember, safe sex is not only about slapping a condom on. It's also about not doing dangerous substances that alter your ability to make wise decisions and also harm your health in and of themselves.
