Skin Conditions - November 2007

i have had a very itchy small toe and between the last two toes. it is considerably dry - drier than the rest of my foot.
The skin on top of the small toe eventually dried up so much that part of it peeled away. It doesn't hurt, just very itchy and the skin surface is not broken. Have never had my feet do this.
I play many sports year-round but have never had this.
Any feedback?

I use moisturizer on my feet daily during the dry time of the year and have always use the same product but the small toe continues these symptoms. I have never had athlete's foot, or foot fungus or any feet issues so I don't know exactly what those symptoms are. Could it be one of those? If so, what product would you recommend?

i had my belly pierced a week ago, it was perfectly fine until yesterday. I woke up with a huge red mark covering most of my lower belly and it itches, there is yellow puss comin out when it touch it, a lump round where it is pierced and to make matters worse, it looks as though my belly is sukin it in as the tops pushing down on my belly and when i lift it there is a dent like the circle of the ring, what do i do?? i dont want to take it out!

Her legs have now lots of red pox type marks on them. I took her to the doc and she was given antibotics. She embrassed to go bare leged. I have tried various vitamins creams to fade the scars. She has lots of faded scars on her feet. She has also some ecexma as well. What can I do to help her as she does get itchy at times as well.

he was given antibiotics and creams each time , since using the medication it has now spread up to his elbow and his hand is swelling , would this be a reaction to the cream to cause this ,
he says it is very itchy
the Drs havnt said much just the swelling will go down soon,
if i took him to a hospital would they give him a allergy test

Ok, red rash on his belly, flaky, scabby skin, hair loss, horrible fleas. I used baby oil on his dry skin (vet recommended). dawn on fleas (also vet recommended). Also, I use advantage, but they still aren't going away, and I don't bathe him a lot. I already know that will dry out his skin more. He already has a vet appointment, but if anyone knows what could be wrong with him let me know. thanx

I took cold shower for 23 years in the Philippines and I am now presently residing in the US. We had a hot water problem in our new house and I told my husband to take cold shower he said cold water doesn't clean him because cold water can't kill bacteria , does it mean I was dirty for 23 years taking cold shower? I've never been to the dermatologist before. I'm 28 and for the past 3 years or so, have been dealing with stubborn acne. Its not all over my face, but there are always breakouts present somewhere. I'm excited about going because I think the doctor will be able to help me out. What kind of things will the doctor be able to do for me? Should I bring any products that I'm currently using so he can see them? Also, should I shave before I go so that the doctor can actually see the zits without stubble in the way? A couple of days ago I noticed that I had "heat rash" type bumps on my jaw line and also on my chest. Throughout the day I also noticed other parts of my body where this rash was forming. Within 2 days, I notice it happens to be spreading to random places.. My sides(ribs) my stomach, lower back , upper back, back of neck and front, behind ears, chest, etc. I have been putting Gold Bond's Baby Powder with Corn Starch on the areas to make sure they are kept dry, and i purchased cotisone 10. I haven't used the cortisone yet, because I'm afraid that if it is heat rash, it will clog the pore even more. How can i get rid of this... what is it??

the bites are kind of like a slash between misquito and flea bites. they are tiny and get hard. they also have a pus head like a flea bite. they are mostly around my butt and i dont know why i keep getting them. they also hurt and itch. they are leaving me scars. this has to stop. please help.

A few weeks ago I had these red bumps on my chest.. I went to the doctor and she said it was normal and the red bumps are a symptom of stress/maybe a cold and they'll go away.

Now, they're behind my neck, on my back, and everywhere on my chest/stomach, shoulders. They're getting dried out, itch a little, but not much. I think it's hives.

I am under a LOT of stress. I hate my job, my boyfriend is a ***, I have so much housework to do because I'm a maid apparently. Could it be caused by stress? How do I get rid of this?
