Skin Conditions - November 2007

i have this thick flap (skin) protruding from anus. is it normal? what is it called? one more thing, sometimes if i "poop" theres a bright red blood that goes with my "poop". ive read from the internet that sometimes it causes a tear in the anus part, which causes it to bleed. it doesnt hurt, really. ive also read that maybe i lack fiber that causes my "poop" to be so hard that causes it to tear also. should i worry? or its just normal?

Here at the pictures of my rashes.

Its really wierd because it is really dark. It is really itchy and I am not allergic to anything and have never eaten any weird thing.
I have this rashes for 2 months now hoping that it will get better but it got worse. HELP!!
I don't know what this is...

i sometimes get acne on my chest, and i know its normal and i have to wash it, yada yada yada.
just now i realize i have this lump.
its smaller than my pinky fingernail, but it doesn't feel like a normal pimple.
i think it is, but it is hard and lumpy and doesn't show ANY signs of popping whatsoever.
any help?

Although the rash isn't ever visible on my back now, I do still get it, mostly on my arms and hands and very occasionally on my stomach. I smoke (not much though) and I do enjoy a drink (mostly Lager.) My Doc says it's a yeast infection which I am doubting. I drank Lager and smoked b4 the rash appeared but when I do drink Lager it does make the rash appear worse. It is never itchy unless I get very warm through running or exposure to high heat. I know lager is high in yeast so maybe the Doc is right (?) I have history in my family of Diabetes (long history) and heart problems. Any suggestions please?

the last couple of months i have noticed that any cuts i get heal very slowly and are leaving a lot worse scar than they used to.

before my scars would fade away in a few weeks (off minor cuts), but they all seem to be staying there and looking as if they have been freshly picked.

I dont scratch them or pick them so what is going on?

I am 21 and I had my ears pierced when I was about 5 so I don't think its a piercing infection. It just recently started and cleaning it doesn't help. When I wear any earrings it continuously leaks a clear to red/brown fluid and forms crusties. When I don't wear earrings, I get the crusties but they don't reform since the hole is not penetrated. Any idea what's wrong?

I am absolutly over my daughters and myself getting head lice. The treatments i buy are so expensive. I wash the sheets,brushes etc and even re-treat the hair a week or so later but it seems the little bugga's become amune.

My 12yr. old son got really REALLY sun burned. We were in mexico for 2 whole weeks, swimming almost every day. The skin is all ashy and peeling, literally there is dead skin just sitting on the layer through out his entire body.

What can I do to fix this, get his skin back to norma and ease the pain?

Lately, I've been getting what feels like pimples on my scalp. It would start of itchy, then when i scratch it, it forms into what could feel like a pimple or a bump.

.Some run across my cheeks (inside my mouth) in sort of a slightly puffed up line. Several days ago, the left side of my mouth began to really hurt. It almost feels like when wisdom teeth come in (I have had them removed). Now the back left side of my mouth is swollen. I cant see in my mouth so I took pictures. I found that I do have an ulcer-like sore in my mouth and that the surrounding areas are puffy (kind of like when a spider bite puffs up). I uploaded the pictures here:

What is wrong with me? How can I make it go away? I can't swallow or eat without it being extremely painful. I have Ulcer Ease mouthwash but it doesn't seem to be helping.

I had a site for my pump in for 4 days, one more than normal. I took it out, and it was very red all under the site. is it infected, or a reaction to the site because I've never worn one there?

and as a reference, the large "scar like" spot to the lower left is from a 5 day site.

I have had these red bumps on my face. They are on those "plateau" type things (best way I could describe them). They are not pimples. They are just bumps that don't develop white heads and won't go away. They have been there for probably a month now. It's making me mad. I'm so embarrassed by them. I wash and wash, I take medicine, but nothing helps. What are they and how do I get rid of them?? Thanks in advance.
P.S. I have a dermatologist appt. in 10 days.

do you get it at all on your fingertips? Mine is starting to get on my fingertips when it is usually just on my legs and arms. the only thing that works is aveeno lotion but my fingertips are hurting so bad! they feel cracked and like they are on fire and neosporing doesnt work.

I am 17 and have I have sort of what I think is ugly skin when I have no makeup on. It goes really red when I cleanse it at night with clean and clear alcohol cleanser. Also I am breaking out lately and its whats makeing my skin look ugly. I am on accutane. Also what can I use to keep it firm, young looking and nice?
Also is it ok to rub not too hard under your eyelids with a cloth to remove makeup? Im scared im making my eyes elasticy and unfirm. They have a line underneath(dark circle?) What can I put there also to keep it firm?

i have red marks on my neck that are itchy and i went to the doctor and he said its not contagious and it was a rash and he gave me a cream to put on my face.i put it on and my neck and it burned REALLY bad and i wiped it off but it was still burning then it started to go away and i haven't put on the medicine,for like a week and then it's not healing on its own.does anyone know any skin products that would help?
