Psoriasis is a disease that takes place when the body’s immune system mistakenly believes healthy skin cells to be enemy cells and starts to produce many more new cells to replace these cells. This is the reason why there is no cure for psoriasis and medications applied to treat psoriasis are only able to remove the symptoms temporarily. Don't go the "cream route", it's only just a waste of time and money. Been there Done that!

You need to read "Psoriasis Free For Life" by Katy Wilson if you want to cure your psoriasis for good. Available online also @ http://www.psoriasisforeverfree.com It's a book that shows you how to cure psoriasis naturally in a few days. I cured my psoriasis permanently in 6 days after reading this book. Good luck!

A friend with psoriasis was told it was basically internalised anger. Eg. Anger against say a mother which your conscious mind cannot 'allow' so you internalise the anger but it doesn't go away just goes round and round unresolved causing physical symptom of psoriasis. Just a theory, but if a person or situation leapt to your mind it may be worth exploring.

I suffer from pusular psoriasis and my doctor at the hospital said if i remember correctly that it is where the skin produces cells to quickly i think stress does 'nt help but i can get flair ups when everything is ok.I am not sure if it is hereditary as no one in my family apart from me suffers with it.

It runs in my family although it does tend to miss out a generation, my Grandfather had it and I and my sibling have it too. My sister has suffered for years, my brothers started through stress and my pregnancy brought mine on. HATE IT .

Same reason people get eczema, its genetic, and they just do. Unfortunately there is no cure for either, those of us that have it just have to learn to live with it.
