Use baby oil after shower, while your skin is stil wet. Does miracles for dry, itchy skin. I also use Neutrogena sesame body oil.

Most people think that it is the chlorine in the water that causes eye and skin problems - this is far for the truth!
The problem is dirty water or more precisely bacteria in the water that makes your eyes sore as to many chemicals in the water would be very dangerous.
On hot days or when there is a raise in pool temperature chlorine is liberated thus a greater than usual smell - the liberation of chlorine into the atmosphere raises the level of bacteria - which is often compounded by a great use of the pool by swimmers.
Chlorine used to be in gas form now banned, pools use other methods of keeping the water clean. Pool water is approximately 600 times cleaner than tap water and is changed in local authority pools about every 4 to 5 years - tap water in a freshly filled pool is dark green and you can only see approximately two feet into the water.
If your skin itches in the water - which is very common - shower well with soap before entering the pool - deodorants often react with pool chemicals and make you itch. If you use Dipro Base try the 'RVI formulation' - but get advice first!!
Best wishes and good luck.

The chlorine level of the pool is most likely causing your skin irritation. If you have no other pools nearby you could go to that use salt for killing germs for example you should definitely make sure you shower thoroughly after getting out to rinse off all chlorine residue. I would also check with your doctor to see what they advise you to do / what to use so you don't have to suffer with itching skin every time you go. Maybe taking an antihistamine would do the trick.

Chlorine is very drying to the skin. A simple shower after swimming followed by your favorite moisturizer all over usually does the trick. If this doesn't work then I would see my physician for further advice. Good luck.

You are probably sensitive to the water. could be chlorine level or acidity level where you swim. Look for a pool with better water quality. And always shower thoroughly after.

Wash off any perfume, deodorant in the showers before you go in the pool as it can be irritated by the chlorine.Shower well after your swim and apply something like aqueous cream or aloe vera gel after.

Sounds like you have a chlorine allergy.

Best thing to do is find a pool that doesn't use high doses of chlorine, ideally no chlorine at all. Some pools use bromide instead and this seems to cause less allergy.

by the looks of it u suffer from what my gf does. u might be alergic to chlorien in the water thus making ur skin itch. i would go see your doctor and get a test done to see if u are in fact alergic to it. if you are then only solution is to swim in plain water swimming pool rather than a public one. sorry :(
