our girl has dry itchy skin, no allergies. and no fleas... yes i am sure, and so is her vet, believe me we thouroughly checked..
she does have areas of dry skin,,,,,,
the first soap was oatmeal.. paid almost ten dollars for it, but honestly it smelled like cheap dollar store stuff.. and she was even more itchy..
i tried one at my in-laws house when we were there, it again was almost ten buck, but it had oatmeal, and baking soda, now it smelled really nice, light, and mild... she seemed to be fine after..
well it has been about 2 wks, and she seems to be ithcing really bad again...

any suggestions? she got really filthy and muddy, needs a bath. but any ideas of what to try???

During the summer I only wear sandals and flip flops so my feet can breath. Now with the colder weather upon us I've been trying to wear socks again with my sneakers and my feet are itching uncontrobably. What can I do so my feet don't itch so bad and get through the day with socks on? And I don't have athelet's foot or some type of fungus on my feet either.

my mate has dermatisitis on her head and she often drags a nit comb through her hair to get the loose skin out of it,only thing is,she eats the dry flakes off the nit comb.when i tell her i saw her do it she said she wasnt eating the skin, she was licking the comb to wet it so that it grips the skin.i never see her shake or wipe the comb and its thick in flakes when she licks it.is she ill? what would you do?why does she do this?has anyone ever heard of this before?
i dont think there are nits just lots of dry flakes and some are as big as cornflakes so i would see them drop off the comb but she licks them off!!

I have what appears to be a ringworm on my neck and no idea where it came from. My fiance recently had (maybe still does have) athletes foot. I'm thinking I got the fungus from him because sometimes he'll put his feet on me, but before I go accusing him has anyone heard of this?

I am 20 years old and ever since I hit puberty I have had excesive sweating under my armpits. I have tried every super strong anti-persperants that I can find, but nothing works and sometimes makes it worse. It is the one thing I have always been self-concious about, and I have had about enough. I can't wear certain colors. I have to be careful when I hug people. It's awful. When I say excesive I mean a lot like sweat rings all they way to the bottom of my breasts. I know you can get surgery, but that is not in my budget. Maybe eventually but for now I need a trick or two, so I can wear gray, green, blue, oh the list goes on! HELP ME!!! 7 years of this with no resolution is enough.

Two days ago I felt a spot develop on the side of my nose. Now the side of my nose is red and swollen and sore to touch. I think it might be a boyle developing beneath the skin but I cant be sure. Is it worth a trip to the doctor or does anyone know what it is?

Hello,

I went to the doctor's office about 6 weeks ago. She told me I have herpes and a ringworm and prescribed me some medicine for each.
4 weeks go by and the area around the 'ringworm' on my arm became red and messed up by using her medication she suggested. I see a dermatologist who says I clearly do not have herpes and it is clearly not a ringworm, but a simple small scar. And that the anti-fungal ringworm medicine is causing irritation all around it.

Shouldn't I get a refund for the doctor being wrong? I paid private pay and paid for the medicine. I called them up and they said their doctors are wrong often and it is OK for them to be wrong, and therefore I should not receive any refund.

Thoughts? Other experiences?

I hear the medications by prescription are expensive and are not covered by most insurances because they are considered as cosmetic. Is there anything to get rid of it? Home remedies or over the counter that work?

I am doing a science lab titled "Dietary Supplements or Drugs? " The symptom I chose was acne, and the solution, Proactiv. Personally, I don't use it, so I cant read the box, but if you do, please tell me about the pros and cons of Proactiv. It is fine if the informations comes from the internet as long as you state the URL. Thanks!

I am currently taking Accutane, which can only be administered if you are in the IPLEDGE program. This program is ridiculously inconvenient, and expensive. It is used to treat persistent acne. There are blood tests and UA's which amount to a lot of bills. But it is the only affective treatment I have found yet for my acne.
The program is just so ridiculously hard to do because inbetween my doctor visit, I have to go online, and fill out some retarded questions about how I'm preventing myself from getting pregnant, and then I have to go to the pharmacy, and RECEIVE the perscription, before 7 days pass (beginning from the day I saw my doctor). If the pharmacy is out, then I'm SOL, because then I have to wait another month before I can get my perscription again because IPLEDGE is gay.
I am really looking to get out of this program because it is AWFUL and I hate it. Does any one know of any other program or treatment that works for acne? I am not talking face scrubs and other stuff.
