I am 20 years old and ever since I hit puberty I have had excesive sweating under my armpits. I have tried every super strong anti-persperants that I can find, but nothing works and sometimes makes it worse. It is the one thing I have always been self-concious about, and I have had about enough. I can't wear certain colors. I have to be careful when I hug people. It's awful. When I say excesive I mean a lot like sweat rings all they way to the bottom of my breasts. I know you can get surgery, but that is not in my budget. Maybe eventually but for now I need a trick or two, so I can wear gray, green, blue, oh the list goes on! HELP ME!!! 7 years of this with no resolution is enough.

it's called hyperhydrosis, and i suffer from that too. unfortunately there aren't very many fixes for it. i know how you feel tho and it sucks! i saw on a tv show once that you can get botox injections under your arms, and that will stop the sweating for a few months...you'd just have to keep up with it. Maybe go to see your doctor or a dermatologist and ask about it...that's what i plan on doing. good luck, it would be awesome if you let me kow if you find anything out too.

The surgery isnt a good idea... believe me.
Try using DrySol. You can buy it at the pharmacy. It does sting a bit but it works. Use it every 2 days at night, NOT everyday.

I have heard botox works to help you sweat less. It isn't as expensive as surgery, and it only works for a few months. It would be worth looking into if you tired of it. I would suggest talking to a doctor who can recommend someone who is certified and knows what they are doing.

I have the same problem. Try Certain Dri. It is a roll-on you put on at night and it can help reduce the sweating.

I would consult an acupuncturist/herbalist near my area. Some times Chinese medicine can help with this a lot.
