I have already tried various different soaps and skin products and nothing helps. I installed a water filter in my shower which proved to be a waste of money.
Could I be allergic to something in the water? Should I see my doctor?

I shook hands with a person who has scabies before I knew they had it on their other hand. I was wondering how do I take precautions to prevent the worsening of the disease on me. I shook their hand today so I guess u can say that the physical contact was today. Help, I'm gettin' all panicky! I dont want to infect my family and dogs at home. What can I do to prevent the burrowing and other things that occur when you get scabies. Also, I have not started itching yet. I knw itching occurs a few weeks later. Please help, Thanks!

They aren't pimples. They can be itchy and painful. They spread easily but are only on my behind! Does anyone else get them and what works to get rid of them? Should I see a Dr. and take antiobiotics or something?

My 3 yr old nephew, who lives with my 71 yr old mother, has been diagnosed with Scabies. I know very little about this... she has been told to vacuum and to wash all bed linens, and to put all stuffed animals in plastic bags for a month (hard to explain to a three year old!) I would like to know what is the best way to get rid of them and also if they can infect cats and dogs. my mom has four cats, and my dog and I visit almost every day with my 2 month old son.

Any info appreciated. Also, how do you catch these in the first place??

my boyfriend noticed that he had a rash on his armpit and we just thought it was because of his deoderant or something. But it hurts him really bad and he works out with the corp everyday so it bugs him even more. He went to the university clinic and they told him that it was staph and that they need to slice open his underarm and take the pus out. What we want to know is, is the slicing necessary? we don't even really think it is staph.
