My roommate has ringworm/athletes foot and we use the same W/D and I fear getting it from him, esp. if I wash my clothes right after he does...

I have been having this itchy problem on my scrotum for a couple of months now and is desperate to break out of the vicious itch and scatch cycle. My scrotum has this whiteish patch with small bumps and pimples like spots that is very itchy, whenever i scratch it, there will be some sort of flaking of some whiteish dirt from the skin. The scrotum skin will also thicken after scatching.

I have suspect it could be Eczema and have been applying the Egoderm Cream every night before i sleep and using the Pinetarsol Bar to wash the area but the itch is still persistent.

Help!

I have all these red spots all on my stomach, back, chest, and legs. I'v been taking benadryl and putting lotion on everywhere. It ends up going away then comes back. The first day that I noticed the spots I thought that they were misquito bites, but there are no misquito's out any more. what could it be and what can I do?

All day long I have been itching like crazy everywhere and it won't go away and when I scratch I break out into welts/hives. I am not taking any medication and haven't had anything to eat, so I know its not from that. This has happened once before where I had to go to the emergency room and wound up getting 6 shots of epinephren. My lip is slightly swollen and my eyelids are slightly swollen, but other than that its mainly the itching thats driving me nuts and I know that I won't be able to sleep because of it.

My Three year old Son developed a Petechial Rash (small pin point bruising) on his ears, neck, shoulders and under his eyes. I took him to see his doctor who asked me if he had been vomiting a lot of scratching himself, that I have noticed, but he has done neither of those recently. He is otherwise healthy. He has a good appetite, gets plenty of rest and eats and sleeps on a regular schedule.

His Doctor ordered a CBC (Complete Blood Count) blood test to check the platelet levels. She thought that this Petechial Rash may have been caused by low Platelets. There was concern that if the platelets were low, that he may be at risk or already have Lukemia, or some other blood disorder. When the results came back, they showed that his CBC was completely normal with no problems.

I have scheduled an appointment to meet with his doctor again next week to look further into this and find out what is going on. Before I go, does anyone have any ideas what else may have caused this?

In the recent SouthPark episode Stan, Kyle, Cartman, & Kenny (don't worry, they killed Kenny again), play World of WarCraft until they each put on about 100 lbs, get carpel-tunnel, have diaherra, can't see, an...get terrible acne. There was a famous baseball hero that wasted his life after retirement, sitting infront of a terminal, and was also depected with acne. Why do people that never leave the computer have acne?

I have a small bump on my scalp now going on 4 years. If I sweat it enlarges and sometimes itch, then when I shampoo it shrinks and does not itch in any way. It is not red in color, it is skin colored. It does not hurt, but if you apply pressure, it is sensitive. I can almost totally shrink it with peroxide application, but it will not go away. It has not spread, but it just bugs me. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks

I have had rosacea now for about two years. My doctor prescribed some metrogel cream for me, but it didn't do any good. I know about certain procautions I can take such as staying out of the sun as much as possible. I was just wondering if there are any legit store products that might help treat it, or something I can get treated for at a Dr. or dermotologist????? Please help!

I think I have it, the space under my sack but before my bunghole itches and is a bit scaley.

I have had it for about a month now, only just recently realized what it was. What can I buy to fix it, and how long will it take, thanks!

Every so often the skin on my elbows start to get hard and then it starts to become scaly and itchy. I went to kaiser and they said it is ezcema and didn't want to diagnose further.

However, I have friends who have ezcema and its not the same. I started to try self treatment and have found a way to get rid of it for at least 2 or 3 years at a time. That is, it will come back every 2 or 3 years which is much better than every other month. The secret is that I place my elbows over a red hot stove top until I can't stand it anymore. Doing this a couple of times a day has killed whatever is under my skin but not permanently. What could it be? I would love to get it out of my system permanently.
