My skin on my face is horrible. Its very very dry when I get out of the shower, and I put rosacea medication (metro gel) and lotion on it (I use Lubriderm sensitive skin). The lotion seems to do nothing, because my face is still rough and peely looking. I do use an exfoliator periodically in the shower (once a week or so). I also have rosacea on my cheeks and my temples, and acne on my chin and around my mouth. I cant stand it! My dr. prescribed me the metro gel to clear up the rosacea, and he didnt think the acne was bad enough to warrant treatment. Im 27 years old, and Im sick of having teenager skin on my face! My diet does not consist of much fat, I eat healthy, I do not smoke, I drink TONS of water, so im not sure what the problem is. Ive tried being on the pill, that didnt work (now im thinking about getting pregnant, so thats out). My doctor has prescribed me other medications for my face, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any ideas as to what my problem is?

My daughter had a bad acne breakout and the doc put her on low dose antibiotic for 6 months. Is this common practice?

He has been unsuccessfully treated with cortisone meds cream since june. He is taking fish oil and evening primrose oil and he uses a moisturiser on his body. Funny thing is he used to be a chronic hayfever sufferer but this seems to be replaced by the dermatitis. Maybe unrelated but in May he was on a strong set of antibiotics following a bad lung infection. He also was freezing all of winter which is really unusual as he is usually hot and sweaty. The doctors have not been able to help and the itch is sending us both crazy so any thoughts would be appreciated.

For the past two nights my daughter has woken up with a skin rash on her feet and upper legs that looks like small white bumps and its very itchy. No fever. No mouth sores. No severe redness. Skin gets red from her itching it. She seems fine during the day. Children's benadryl helps alot. The only thing out of the ordinary that sounds like it might be suspicious was that we took her to a pumpkin farm last week where she was playing in some hay and handling some pet rabbits that were at the farm.

All three of my kids have developed ringworm on their scalp. I am using an anti fungal cream on them, but without shaving their heads it is hard to get to. Any ideas?

My husband has a round circle of blisterlike sores on his neck. He says its ringworm, Ive never seen one. He called me on his way to work this morning , and said he had a hickie on his neck, right by the ringworm. Do I have a chance of getting it in my mouth, stomach...etc.
