They are red circles - I see 2, sometimes 3 in different areas of the body. They disappear by day end - don't know how long they remain.

-Slapface Syndrome? (an infectious disease - not parental abuse)

more info please. whats a large splotch? Is it from pressure from sleeping in an awkward position or is it something else. Does it go away as the day progresses or does it take a couple of days. Does it have an epicenter where the redness radiates outward or is it an irregular shape with no uniformity. I really cant begin to give you any suggentions w/o more info.

sounds like an allergy..Is she sleeping with a new stuffed animal or doll? My daughter started sleeping with a new stuffed animal and woke up all broke out. She got to keep the stuffed animal but is not able to sleep with it.

allergy to what you wash your sheets with. Try a sensitive skin laundry detergent and see if it quits happening.
