My husband has a round circle of blisterlike sores on his neck. He says its ringworm, Ive never seen one. He called me on his way to work this morning , and said he had a hickie on his neck, right by the ringworm. Do I have a chance of getting it in my mouth, stomach...etc.

It's just a fungus, it can easily be treated with fungus killing medicine. If you get one on your body, then go to the doctor.

Ringworm is highly contagious and needs to be treated. Your chances of getting ringworm are excellent. If he feels he has ringworm, he should see a doctor to get rid of it.

Its not a 'worm' so you won't get it internally. It is a fungus. He should be treating his spots with antifungal cream and if you get it, you should do the same. You can get the cream at the store, over the counter. It's just like athlete's foot. You should treat the spots for 2 weeks after it looks like it's gone to be sure it doesn't return.
