I personally swear by using Ivory soap hand soap ....let my skin get nice and pulled tight lol...then about a half an hour later,...use Retin-A.....i have virtually no lines in my face,...and I am 56 years old...can't wait for the face lift!!!! good luck...but you need a prescription for the Retin A....it might break you out at first,..but after about two months use...you will be amazed..It also has collegen in it that plumps up lines in your face.

The constant use of acne products only serve to aggravate your face even more. It's a never ending cycle which is how they make money. My advice is to do what I did-it worked for me as a teenager and I never had acne again and I'm now in my thirties.
Give your face a break. Just use plain soap and wash your face to keep it free from oil and dirt. Ivory or a baby soap like baby's own or even jergens. If your skin is really oily-use ivory. If it has dry patches then use a mild soap. Forget astrigents, creams, special soap etc. If your face is really bad I would suggest Noxema soap which is an acne soap but inexpensive and really works. Another thing you can try is to disinfect and clean your face basin and then rinse it thoroughly and fill it halfway with boiling water from your kettle. Then get a thick towel and put it behind your head and then bend your head over towards the sink and let the steam open your pores and let the gunk out naturally. Afterwards you can splash some cool water on your face to close back the pores. This treatment has worked wonders for many people and best of all -it's free. Please do not put toothpaste on your face as someone above suggested. That would be a very foolish thing to do. Finally for spots I would suggest face bleaching cream which evens out your complexion. This can be purchased from any large pharmacy shelf. Here is a website for reference. http://www.fairandflawlessskin.com/

Bbesides the suggestion others gave to you on cleaning and using products, eat well, tons of vegetables and low fat snacks. No junk food and make the regular cleaning of your face with specific products, morning and night a regular routine
