He's 6 years old, and one day i noticed three blister-like dots on his face, by his mouth. The next day, I discovered a big open one on his lower back, and today there’s a new one on his butt. I don’t think its chicken pox because he had a vaccination, and its not spreading rapidly the way chicken pox does. Any ideas what it could be?

my daughter is 11 and has had a fever for the past 3 days and has been vomiting. Today she developed a rash over her chest, back, face, arms and upper legs. I took her to Urgent care today and they put her on an IV to rehydrate her. They diagnosed her with gastroenteritis (tummy flu). I have been looking up symptoms on the internet and havent found anything on here about getting a rash with gastroenteritis and also she doesnt have diarrhea or stomach aches at all and that is the main symptoms of it. I dont think that is what she has. I think they didnt know so they just called it something. any ideas of what she might have?

Hi i am 28 yr old male...I have staph infection in my scalp for about 5 yrs now. first it spread all over my scalp and now to my beard..I havent fallen sick in a major way (from some of the news reports that I read and i dont know how I got it) but I am very tired of having this infection around. There are just so many sores on my head and they are painful all the time. I cant work properly and cant study either, because Im in pain. Plus Im worried I will spread this to other people (you can only wash your hands so many times). I have gone to 6 dermatologists, 5 of them put me on tetracycline, but everytime I was done with my oral course, the infection would come back with a vengeance. The 6th doc put me on muciprocin, omicef and clindamycin, which helped for a month (it was the happiest month of my life), and these sores are back again....Im very depressed. I heard there is a new antibiotic called cubicin...is that any good? Please help. Thanks

My 2 year old daughter has a rash. It is small red bumps. I haven't noticed her scratching them and she says she isn't itchy. I also asked if her belly or throat hurt snd she says no. I haven't used any new soaps lately for her or our clothes. She did eat peanut butter yesteday and I noticed the rash after her bath. She has ate peanut butter before and I don't recall any rash. Any ideas on what it could be? The doctor isn't avaliable until monday.

I have a three year old daughter that has eczema. I've tried almost every product you can name. Elidel, hyrdocortizone, freederm, you name it, we've tried it. Nothing seems to help. She no longer itches the way that she used to, but the rashes are still there and itch occassionally. I know there's no cure, but I just need something that is going to give her some relief.

Okay, foolishly I did not listen to advice when I was a young acne-prone girl and went ahead to pick at my facial pimples because I could not stand them. Unfortunately, as a consequence I have gotten numerous acne scars and blemishes (dark circular pigmentation-little brown spots along my chin and cheeks [they are not raised, my skin is otherwise smooth save for the discoloration], I have a relatively tan complexion). Is there any way to get rid of them, or at least make them appear less noticeable(preferably a relatively cheap, at home-convenient solution, or am I doomed to working towards the day until I can afford a medical/laser treatment?)
I've heard of chemical peels, mederma, scarzone...do those really work-especially since my skin problem is obviously affected by something deeper then the superficial layers of my epidermis?
All suggestions welcome!

I have not started new meds, or new supplements, I exfoliate and use the same cleansers I have used for a decade plus, no new diet, and yet at 28, I have a lot of little pimples below my lower lip and my chin. No different diet, I'm still dating same guy I've been with for years, not a cold sore (get those every 5 or so years so I know,) what could be up? Any ideas? 28 is pretty old to be breaking out and this has been going on 3+ months. :S Please note, I know they are pimples, so don't tell me its a rash of some sort, lol, I KNOW WHAT a pimple is, thanx. ;)

Last week I went to my dermatologist to have some bumps removed off of my neck. His office just called and told me that the biopsy he took came back as Neurofibroma and he wants to see me because he is concerned because I have so many. Does anyone know what neurofibroma is and is this something that I should worry about? I can't go to see the dr. until the middle of next week...should I be really worried? I looked Neurofibroma up on the internet, but really couldn't understand what it is or if it's dangerous.
