I'm a pretty clean guy, and have had these on the back of my head for over a year now. When I get stressed they get worse but never go away! I've tried tea tree shampoo, washing my hair twice a day, and head and shoulders. I eat healthy and work out 6 days a week. I've gotten no reasonable answers from the medical field either. Any help would be great. They are very painful and embarrassing!

I took Accutane when I was in high school for about a year and a few years later I took it again for about 6 months in college. While on it in college I drank heavily even though I knew I wasn't supposed to. I am now 31 and am experiencing a lot of dryness on my face as well as flushing and small breakouts. I think I may have damaged my liver by drinking on the medicine. What kind of tests can I have done to see if I have liver damage?

Has anyone been told they've got yeast dermtitis and then told there's nothing you can do about it.

I've got a bit of a red nose that has occassional flaky bits of skin, the skin also goes a bit wrinkly when wet.

Believe me I'm not that freaky looking but do from time to time let this get to me.

does putting salt on cold sores make it worse or speed up the healing process??

I had damaged my hands while working and making over 175 pairs of eyeglasses in a 4 day period. They are still very dry and itch from the healing process. I have been using gloves to keep from the contact of the liquids used to fabricate the lenses and use some lotion, but they still bother me. What lotion/treatment is best to relieve the itching and dryness? (other than going to a doctor which I don't have the insurance or the money for)

I drink water every while but not normally like I should; years ago parts of skin on my upper body started changing colors and the surface of whatever it was would start itching. It seems that everytime I would drink water normally it would go away, but its would always come back in the forms of light and darks yet various shapes. Recently I've been drinking water like I should, but it not disappearing, and the part of skin is very dry even after I get out of a bath, and it itches somewhat. I've seen what psoriasis is and I dont think it could be that unless there are different forms, but it would seem pretty odd because its not that bad. I've heard of "liversplash" from someone who said that I may not drink enough water and I heard of the term "water marks", does this sound familiar? What could be my problem, its only been on my chest, stomach and back. Although I'm going to the doctor soon for a different situation, maybe I should visit dermatologist, but any info would help.

My daughter had what looked like a cold sore and I put stuff on it, it went away after a fer days. Then suddenly she had a smaller sore next to where the bigger one was. That went away and now she has the start of a new one in the same general area, this has all been in about a two week period. Any ideas what it is and what to do about it.

I went to the dermatologist yesterday and she removed a mole she thought "didn't look good" and sent it out to be tested for melanoma. I was quite suprised and have never had this procedure done before. She made an elliptical excision without stitches.

The wound covers about 1.5 inches by .5 inches of surfce area and seems to be about the same depth as a quarter. It concerns me that it is this "deep" without any stitches. She suggested this method because my job requires me to be very active and I was concerned about popping stitches.

Has anyone had this done before? How long does it take a wound like this to heal?

Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
