Well...our skin peels when it is overly dry, burned, or damaged, and new skin regenerates to protect our muscles. Our faces are more exposued to sun light and chemicals than parts of us that are covered in clothing, so some damage is inevitable...though you can reduce your exposure, take some steps to protect the skin you have, and use a loofa pad to remove the dead skin on your face.

Is your skin coming into contact with harsh chemicals, are you washing your face with a harsh cleaner, or do your swim in chlorinated pools a lot?

Have you tried using a moisturizing facial wash or a facial lotion to help keep your skin supple?

Have you tried using sunscreen when you go out during the day to protect your skin from sun damage and over drying?

Are you drinking alcohol, smoking, or ingesting a lot of caffeine? Try drinking lots of water and cutting back on the rest.

Have you spoken to a doctor or nutritionist to make sure you are getting the right kinds of vitamins in your diet? You may want to consider adding a multi-vitamin or zinc tablets to your daily intake, and eating more of the following foods: sunflower seeds, black currants, watercress, sweet potatoes, pineapple, fish, pumpkin seeds.

I won't stop utilising my prescription however because of the fact it rather does help me plenty, and that i do use oil loose lotion to assist with the whole dryness, yet do no longer forget it is meant to dry us out to eliminate the zits and it rather is scares. whilst it clears up and we see the hot sparkling dermis, be useful to moisturize then too.

Well, everything I could think of has been listed except Eczema. If its mild pealing, or you have a sunburn or don't eat a healthy diet, this could be the cause.

But you could have Psoriasis or Eczema.

Get it checked by a determatologist if it is really serious.

Neosporin, vaseline, or hydrocortizone cream one of these should help out some.

you may have extremely dry skin, i do too and was told to exfoliate once twice a week and moisturize daily. a cleanser and toner can help significantly. you might think of taking skin supplements. your diet can be a strong factor in your dry skin, maybe reevaluate what you put into your mouth.

You are either dehydrated, you have a sunburn, or you need to moisturize. Use a good exfoliator and then get a good moisturizer. Use a heavier moisturizer at night. And use sunblock during the day.
