My daughter had it real bad and we went to different doctors and everything they gave her didn't work. The last doctor we went to told us to wash her with a cleanser called cetaphil and use the cetaphil lotion or use nivea lotion. She told us to even use it on her hair until it got better on her body so she didn't have the other soap running down her. It worked. It cleared it up and she had it real bad on her arms and behind the back of her knees. It does come back from time to time but for the most part it is gone. It is a little expensive. You can find it at walmart.

Eczema is a silly little annoyance which results from the immune system not being able to recognise skin cells which have lost the plot.

I get sick to the teeth of reading lists of drugs and chemicals in answers which simply serve to exacerbate the problem.

You have Eczema because your immune function is up the proverbial spout.

Stop cramming chemicals and garbage down your throat. No more Aspartame and caffeine. drink at least 2 litres of bottled still mineral water per day (anyone who tells you that bottle water is a hype has no idea what they are talking about).

There are no "cures", but give your body the tools to do the job and it will do it (just as it was designed to do). I wonder who can tell you anything you need to know. eczema is simply an external warning that your immune system is in a state of collapse. Lapse into denial if you like, but if you are now thinking seriously about this, you know where to look for an answer

Take care.

Cure it? I'm not so sure that you can but you can use ointments and creams to relieve the symptoms...I personally use Elocon which is prescribed by doctors I also have used Elidel which didn't work as well. But the best thing to do is see a doctor. Good Luck.

My ex boyfriend had a friend who had this and they got together to try to make a home remedy. This might seem gross but he hasn't had a outbreak since. Oh and they were drunk at the time.
Eggs
Turpentine
Vinegar
and i believe there was something else. They smeared it on him and he sat there in it and finished drinking and it was gone.
Said it smelled really bad but I'm sure now he's glad he did it.
Good Luck

Any anti-fungal should help. I believe turpentine and vinegar are antifungals. www.hufa.org has some basic info on the fungus that is the cause - according to the book I am reading. It is the candida (yeast) fungus.

Yogurt, taken internally regularly, may help keep it from coming back, once gone.

cant cure it but use fragrant free soap/bodywash/lotions..aveeno is good and also hydrocortisone to stop the itch. the generic kind at walmat works just as well as the expensive brands.

There's no cure, just ask your doctor and he/she will give you something to keep it under control.

My girlfriend has eczema and i don't think it can be cured. She has to use neutral moisturing soap (Dove) and stay out of strong sunlight.

there is a prescription called Psorcan that is amazing for that. Over the counter I use hydrocortisone cream, which is cheaper and works too.
