Im takin 40MG accutane and im wonderin is 40 MG weak to kill acne? I havent seen the results i wanted yet but i can tell my face is gettin a little better barely. I want to take a higher dosage like 80MG cause i want to see results ASAP and for the side effects i only got dry lips that it.

MY doctor told me i should take 40 mg ONE TIME A DAY ( it said on box 2 times a day) because its my first time tryin it and she said later on she will increase the dosage.

So people do you think a week and 4 days is to short to judge the effectiveness of Accutane? Should i wait 2 more weeks or more???

and can i use oilve oil on my face overnight???? or vaseline????

My guy keeps his feet very clean, but he wears leather work boots on a daily basis. He hasn't had athletes foot for years until he recently purchased these boots. They were not tried on by someone else prior to his purchase. He has been no where near a place where he could get it from someone or a contaminated surface. How could he have gotten it?

I am a 33 year old male. A month back I started developing a dime-sized baldness. Now I have developed such small spots of baldness in several places in my head and my beard. I have never had this problem before. I am afraid it is getting worse by the day. I got onto a medication for Tryglicerides (Tricor) a month back. I am not sure if this could be a reason. My doctor (not a dermatologist) says it is not due to Tricor, but due to work pressures. If anyone has an answer, thank you in advance.

what does this mean, this has happened a couple of times now? after taking bloods, my arm at the needle site swells up to the size of (no joke) a grape. is the the fault of the nurses or doctors. does this mean my veins weak? and when this old leaked blood a danger of traveling as clots to my brain or heart or something? i dont like injections the best of times but this certainly freaks me out quite a bit.

I have a type of skin lesion on the back of my neck that looks much like a ringworm. However, I went to the Dr. and she informed me that it was not a ringworm but instead a bacterial infection (I may have been "clipped" when getting the base of my hairline buzzed at the beautician and bacteria got in the small cut causing a bacterial infection)...after taking a Rx of penicillin and using Rx topical ointment, Alcortin, it still has not gone away. It fades but then comes right back. It is red, in the shape of a circle, is dry and does itch at times, not constantly, and sometimes flakes. It has not spread, like a ringworm can. It is at the base of my hairline. What could it be and how could I get rid of it?

I have read through 'search'ing that skin tags are common for middle-aged women on their eyelids, armpits, & other areas. I have had only a few on my eyelids, no where else, since I was 38 & am now 42. I wondered if this could be a sign of some other health problem?
