I have read through 'search'ing that skin tags are common for middle-aged women on their eyelids, armpits, & other areas. I have had only a few on my eyelids, no where else, since I was 38 & am now 42. I wondered if this could be a sign of some other health problem?

they can "sometimes " indicate health problems, not always, if they are getting worse you could benefit from a doctor exam, good luck

They are rarely cause for concern, but you should still have the checked out by your dermatologist just in case. That will settle your mind, and they can also remove most kinds (superficial) in the office. Take care!

My little girl has one and the doctor said it was no big deal. It would do more damage to remove it. He said it should not cause any discomfort and for me not worry about it.

I either snip them off with a nail clipper, or pull them off. I've never had any problems.
