Hi there, I am suffering from psoriasis too.... I also have white plaques on my scalp in addition to plaques on my lower limbs. I have consulted a skin specialist at Singapore National Skin Centre. I receive a few creams to apply on on different time of the day. What my Specialist advise me was that I hould not worry as it will cause me to stress and stress and worrying might affect the worsen of the psoriasis.... Just my advise is just carry on with your life and see a doctor if u have not done so...

Sorry to hear about your psoriasis, but you're not alone!
I have had psoriasis for many years, and it has both worsened and abated a bit (although the condition is not curable).
Oddly, there is no standard course of treatment for psoriasis. Some people require only tanning or sunlight exposure to help them get rid of the patches. For others, it's coal tar solutions (really stinky!) or variations of topical steriods or other ointments. Still others use a biological approach, such as pills or injections.
In short, see a dermatologist for some pointers. I've noticed that one of the worst facets of having psoriasis is that one can feel isolated. Definitely not the case! Check out http://www.psoriasis.org, which is the National Psoriasis Foundation.
Good luck.

I had a 13 year history of psoriasis, though I was in good health otherwise. But these severe large, thick and scaly excoriated plaques on my neck, ears, trunk and limbs ruined the way I was leading my life. I would be with red, inflamed itchy skin for most part of the year and these silvery scales would seem to be erupting without any reason. To make matters worse, blisters would appear over already red and itching skin. It was living hell.
I was treated with various options but nothing seemed to be working. Some of the treatments that I underwent in this depressing period of 13 years included tar preparation, tropical steroids and anthralin. I was also given light therapy many times but everything I tried would give me temporary relief.
And soon, after a few days I would be plagued with the situation again. In one of those moments when I was completely lost I stumbled upon this website just by chance. I read it and felt that as if someone had put the story my life on this web page. I was thoroughly convinced that if ANYONE can cure me of condition, it would be you.
And was I right, or what. I started recovering within 3 days of starting this treatment. Something that had become a painful part of me for 13 years was actually getting healed! My ears are healed and my neck is smooth again!. I am a month into the treatment and I have never felt better in my life!

I was diagnosed with psoriasis at age 14 and now I am 36 years old. You can say that I have tried just about every medicine both approved by FDA and trial without much success. Examples include Enbrel, Humira, oral meds, creams, oils, salts, coal tar, etc and the list is much more extensive that I can't even remember all of the names. But recently after someone shared this video https://tr.im/psoriasisTreatments2015W3zO everything has changed. My psoriasis completely cleared by putting these changes in place. I only wish I'd taken photos of before and after because it truly has been miraculous. I am getting married in Oct, 2015 and I am wearing a strapless gown that also shows my back and I am confident (not like before) that my skin will be soft and pretty vs red and flakey.

Cure psoriasis starting today - even if your doctor or dermatologist says "it's impossible!"
I've just followed a guide called psoriasis free for life that completely cured me of this debilitating and embarrassing disease in less than a month!
Remember, this will not only treat the symptoms that you do see:
the red, inflamed itchy skin.
The silvery scales that seem to erupt for no reason.
The burning or bleeding that occurs around your joints.
The cracking, oozing and painful patches on your skin.
But it also treats the underlying cause of psoriasis - the part you don't see - the actual immune system deficiency that causes these itchy patches to appear and scale over.
For more information, check here : http://Psoriasis.naturallysaver.com .
You can definitely get back your life, your confidence and your self esteem!

Stress tends to cause Psoriasis to flair. Try to eliminate as much stress in your life as you can. That's easy to say, but very hard to do. There is a lot of research going on about Psoriasis these days.I have had it for over 40 years, and try to keep up with all the latest on the subject.I have in front of me right now a pamphlet put out by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. They now have a product called ENBREL. I have not as yet tried it, but my doctor and I have been discussing it. Like all medications there are side effects, one of which could cause me serious problems because of the work I do.For more info on the product, and more info on Psoriasis itself call 1-888-436-2735. Their web site is www.enbrel.com .
Wyeth also publishes a series of small magazines called PSORIASIS CONNECTIONS which has a wealth of material about how to cope. You can get a copy by going to
psoriasisconnect.com. I highly recommend it.
One of the problems with treating Psoriasis is that what will work for one person may not work for another. I have found that topical steroids are working well for me right now but I still have to keep after it.You said it was in your scalp. there is a little known product, a steroid called Liquid Lidex. It's by RX. The beauty of it is it can get through the hair onto the scalp.(Lidex or fluocinonide comes in liquid, cream and ointment) Another product I am using is called Dovonex (calcipotriene)Again, it is by RX also. There are shampoos available at your drug store over the counter that may help. One that comes to mind is Tegrin(or Tegren) Visit with your pharmacist and see what he recommends over the counter.
I try to keep as much stress out of my life as I can because stress can trigger a flair-up. Good luck. I hope you find something that will work for you.

Skin diseases are no longer the great challenge they used to be.
A group of complex carbohydrates should normally be attached the proteins of every single cell in the human body.
The transfer of all biological data at cellular level depends upon all of those carbohydrates being in place.
Such problems are simply the result of the Immune System being compromised by the depletion of one or more of these carbohydrates.
Diseases such as Eczema, Psoriasis, skin cancer or Hives, are simply the result of the immune system not being able to recognise that there is a problem in the first place.
This is four times Nobel Prize winning science, with 350,000 scientific papers being written about it already.
Replacing these missing carbohydrates is quite straight forward, and promotes proper immune response. This attacks the root cause of the disease.

You said you don't have post nasal drip but do you have sinus problems of any sort? From what you have said it doesn't sound like the problem is in your mouth, it could be coming from your stomach or intestines. If you have allergy problems then there's your answer, and you need to talk to an allergy specialist. If not then you need to talk to your dr about your stomach. You could have high acid content in your stomach which can cause a *rotten* smell when it digests food. (sometimes our body is just so gross! :-p) Also if you have acid reflux it could be bringing the smell to the surface which can make it worse. until the problem goes away use good toothpast and mouthwash (I recommend listerine) and chew gum which I have found orbit is strong enough to mask heinous odors. Your dr should be able to give you something to neutralize the acid in your stomach.
