He's 6 years old, and one day i noticed three blister-like dots on his face, by his mouth. The next day, I discovered a big open one on his lower back, and today there’s a new one on his butt. I don’t think its chicken pox because he had a vaccination, and its not spreading rapidly the way chicken pox does. Any ideas what it could be?

Sorry I forgot the name but i can tell u how to like cure it!
Give me A minor bose of antibiotic like erythrocin could use pheniramine maleate or incidal they will make the blisters go away and as u describe it thes drugs should be helpful and quite effective but as im a medical student so i would suggest u to make sure and sorry i forgot the name. n 2 times daily n should get results in 4 to 5 days time, but still i would ask u to make sure like do they itch alot and also when u scratch them hard they seem to burst and give out puss and then blood and these mostly appear on the parts where there is frequent sweating like waste and on the butt even feet but they also occur on the back, arms and legs and never on the face! (and its not chicken pox)

Like Stuart said. and let me add, shingles is something you can get after having chicken pox. Having the vaccine would be the same as having the disease. Make sense?

search the words MOLLUSCUM CONTAGIOSIUM
my son had this when he was about 6 years old. they look like a zit and they spread over his entire body. i took him to the doctor and he said that is what it is. the doctor burnt them off like warts. they go away by them selves but take a long time. my son had them for almost a year. its a viral pox that the body is fighting off and the body has to just take the time to do its thing but they will go away eventually if that is what it is. my sons fist one started on his chin and moved to his neck and spread from there. they ARE NOT CONTAGIOUS but very sensitive to touch. be gentle with bathing and dont scratch them. let me know what you find out.

Maybe it's dengue . .. i don't know ... but for sure it would be best if you take him to a doctor right away. don't wait for it to spread all over his body and make it threatening to his life.
