I have not started new meds, or new supplements, I exfoliate and use the same cleansers I have used for a decade plus, no new diet, and yet at 28, I have a lot of little pimples below my lower lip and my chin. No different diet, I'm still dating same guy I've been with for years, not a cold sore (get those every 5 or so years so I know,) what could be up? Any ideas? 28 is pretty old to be breaking out and this has been going on 3+ months. :S Please note, I know they are pimples, so don't tell me its a rash of some sort, lol, I KNOW WHAT a pimple is, thanx. ;)

I have recently had the exact same problem - could we blame a global shift (or George Bush) - probably not. Sounds mostly like hormones (as my Dr stated) so I am currently on the contraceptive pill which has helped alot. I also find a 2.5 to 5% Benzoyl Peroxide cream (as Proactiv can get expensive) with your normal routine really helpful.
Hang in there baby, and remember you look beautiful today!!

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing...

Get Rid Of Acne Permanently?

Do you ever rest your chin on your hands? Sometimes this can cause pimples. If not, then it's probably hormone related. Women's hormones alter throughout our whole lives, not just during puberty and menopause. If it keeps bothering you, I'd see a doctor to get a prescripton to clear up the problem.

Do not know what causes it, but you are not alone. I am the same age and have developed the same problem. It has also happened to some of my friends. Proactiv seems to get rid of most of it but if you stop using it, your acne comes back and is sometime worse.

Good Luck!

Hey I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I find I get more if I'm not sleeping properly. I sleep about three good nights in seven so have lots of pimples. I just tell people that they are teenage spots. I'm 27.

some people get acne much later in life--i was unfortunate enough to get it when i was 9. ive dealt with acne for years, and if u want it to go away, i recommend proactiv. it'll get worse before it gets better, just to warn u so u dont think it isnt working. thats a sure sign it is.

good luck=]
