Okay, foolishly I did not listen to advice when I was a young acne-prone girl and went ahead to pick at my facial pimples because I could not stand them. Unfortunately, as a consequence I have gotten numerous acne scars and blemishes (dark circular pigmentation-little brown spots along my chin and cheeks [they are not raised, my skin is otherwise smooth save for the discoloration], I have a relatively tan complexion). Is there any way to get rid of them, or at least make them appear less noticeable(preferably a relatively cheap, at home-convenient solution, or am I doomed to working towards the day until I can afford a medical/laser treatment?)
I've heard of chemical peels, mederma, scarzone...do those really work-especially since my skin problem is obviously affected by something deeper then the superficial layers of my epidermis?
All suggestions welcome!

Chemical treatments may work. It depends on the damage. But there are also dermabrasion and lasers.

See a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Do Not go to a Fancy Clinic.

Chemical peels will probably do the job but that is a very strong solution. Try vitamin E extract cream. Vitamin E is very good at healing scars and promoting fast healing. Also, it is a much cheaper solution and the worst that can happen is that it doesnt work. Good luck!
