i used to use hair removal creams previously, now i have switched to waxing.
i heard that hair removal creams tend to make ur skin darker in that area, is it true.
how can i get it bac to normal, its very embarrasing n i cant wear any sleeve less clothes.

You see, waxing or plucking can contribute to the darkening of your armpits because these bring trauma to your skin.To help improve the complexion, you must first try to avoid these practice. You can go back to your hair removal creams (but be sure the one you're using is compatible to your skin type or else you will get allergic to it ) or you may want to undergo a laser treatment (particularly Alexandrite laser..I have tried it and it works ..for one session..no hair growth for one month.) You can also try applying bleaching creams. They also work well but gradually. Hope this helps. God bless

I am aware that there are prescription creams available to help with hyperpigmentation. There might be one available over-th-counter as well. You could ask in the cosmetics section of a store like Macy's or Nieman-Marcus. Or see a dermatologist for the prescription. Be sure to tell them you have skin allergies so you are given something hypoallergenic.
