They aren't bruises and there are more coming by the week. Any suggestions???

It could be related to venous insufficieny. The blood pools in the venous system due to lack of use. You can try Ace wrapping or special hose that help circulation. The also have sequential hose that are controlled by a machine that slowly squeezes the leg from the botton up.

You say you are partially paralyzed, I would guess you aren't able to move about very easily and if your legs don't get movement and circulation the skin can start to break down.

You haven't said where the splotches are and what they look like. That would be important information to determine what the cause is for this and how to treat it!

He's probably experiencing trouble with his circulation in his legs. My grandfather is also paralyzed, and gets bruising very easily.
